Email to Case in Salesforce

 

Email to Case is a standard Salesforce feature that allows cases to be created from emails.There are two varieties of Email-To-Case:

1. Email-To-Case: It makes use of an agent running on the computer protected by the company's network firewall.

2. On-Demand Email-To-Case: Without needing to put an agent behind a company's network firewall, it converts email to cases using Apex email services.
